AmeriCorps

Dedicated to Making a Difference, Full-Time

Every year since 2006, BHCHP's AmeriCorps/Community HealthCorps® program has recruited a dynamic team of individuals for 11 months of full-time national volunteer service.

Our program draws individuals who have set their sights on careers in medicine, health care, public health, policy and related fields.  Their work includes case management, health education, patient activities, and more.

Benefits and Application Details

BHCHP's AmeriCorps/Community HealthCorps® members receive a living allowance, education award, health insurance, transportation stipend and training and service opportunities.

Applications are reviewed each April for the program year beginning in September. Please note that this program is available to all, without regard to race, color, national origin, disability, gender, political affiliation, sexual orientation or religion. BHCHP is an EEOC employer. Minorities and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Further, we are seeking veterans, military family members, and those who have been recently un- or under-employed to serve with our program.
